Learn About Three Powerful Stategies to Make Money from Your Blog… Starting Today!

Posted by Admin on June 28th, 2009

By Kevin Ocasio

The web has an incredible internet marketing tool, even though they’ve been available for quite some time. In spite of that, only lately has this tool been accepted as a powerful communication tool for internet marketers. If you’ve been following the latest Internet marketing trends like I have, then you’ve definitely heard of them.

What’s this powerful marketing tool I am speaking of that every serious marketer should have in place? Blogs! Now, just for those of you who aren’t quite sure what a blog is, here’s a quick explanation: a blog (a.k.a “web log”) is basically a journal that’s available on the net. The activity of updating (mostly on a daily to weekly basis) a blog is referred to as “Blogging” and a person who has a blog is a “Blogger”.

There you have it, brief and to the point. Okay. For the remainder of this article I want to focus on how an individual can make money from having their own Blog. I’m going to mention a few strategies that I consider are the best and most powerful ways to get the most out of your Blog. So, with that said, let’s talk about the first profit tactic.

Profit Tactic # One: Article Marketing

Writing articles are an incredible way to make money from your blog. There are numerous reasons why articles are helpful to your blog, but for the purpose of this article, I’m going to give you the most important part, and that is your “Resource Box” at the close of your article. Your “Resource Box” is like a classified ad and holds crucial information about you, your sites and what you’ve to offer them once they have read your article.

The links inside your “Resource Box” could lead to your own product or service you have to offer, or they can lead to an affiliate product that relates to the content of your article. This is a cool technique to give them something of “usefulness”, which is the information in the article, and a good technique to get them to take action by way of getting them to click on 1 of the links inside your “Resource Box”.

The Second Profit Tactic: Writing Product Reviews

Writing product reviews is a magnificent technique to profit from your blog simply because they allow you to soft-sell your possible client by way of giving them your own view on the product you are suggesting and then providing them a link if they wish to look into it further, as opposed to hitting them with a sales pitch.

No one likes to be sold to, nevertheless offering them your view on a product or service that can help resolve the problem they are dealing with is still an additional good way to make money from your blog and make you look like a hero.

Profit Tactic Number 3: Contextual Ad Programs

Contextual ad programs like Google Adsense are yet one more cool method to make money from your blog. Google Adsense is a pay-per-click (PPC) program that displays advertisements related to the subject matter on that particular web page of your site. It’s 100% free to join and can only take you minutes to set-up depending on your experience.

Now I’m confident that there are many other strategies to make money from your blog, but these are in my mind some of the most powerful. If you haven’t started a blog, maybe it is time you thought about it since now you have a little incentive. I genuinely hope this article helped you appreciate the profit potential your blog could have and how you can start incorporating it beginning today!

Build Your List With A joint Venture Give Awayevent

Posted by Admin on June 23rd, 2009

By Ben Needles

Internet marketers are advertising innovators as they simply throw out all of the written-in-stone advertising policies of brick and mortar advertisers and devised new and effective ways to reach their potential customers.

The Internet itself has changed the way people purchase things. People do not have to get dressed, drive into town, find a parking place, stand in line searching for the products and/or services they want any longer.

Internet marketers have invented ways to reach their potential customers that were unheard of in the brick and mortar world of advertising. This innovative marketing technique is called the Give Away Event or Joint Venture Give Away Event. Can you imagine a group of brick and mortar stores getting together and agreeing to give free products to one anothers customers?
I cant either. But thats exactly what happens in the internet give away event. How likely is it that Sears is going to give something for free to JCPenney customers and vice versa? Exactly, not very likely. Brick and mortar stores wouldnt even dream of giving something for free to stores that are not in competition with them. JCPenney would never give something for free to customers of an automotive store even though JCPenney does not sell automotive supplies. It just is not done in the brick and mortar world. But it IS done on the Internet.

A Joint Venture Give Away is usually limited to a specific number of members. Each member offers a free gift which is almost always digital and downloadable from his/her website. These free gifts are usually e-books, special reports, softwares and on line tutorials that are valuable for those that need them. With their gifts, each member actually gives their valuable knowledge and experience thats relevant to their area of expertise for free. This does not happen too often in the brick and mortar business. Once a Joint Venture give away is organized, every participating member is encouraged to promote the event through several various ways like sending the event announcement to the members of his/her mailing list, write an article about the event in his/her blog or any social networking sites and putting banners and/or links in the banner/link exchange websites.
Every member of the give away event would then advertise their free gifts as well as every other member of the Joint Venture Give Away event. The people that saw the announcement and are interested in obtaining the free gifts would go to the on line event and then download the free gifts of their choice. Before downloading their free gifts, they are normally asked for their contact information such as their emails. This is needed in order to gage their interest in the topic thats related to the free gift that they are about to download. For example, if you are serious about learning about affiliate marketing, you would in a heart beat give your email information before downloading a free e-book about affiliate marketing. This is how each member in the Joint Venture give away has the opportunity to build his or her list. Because of the nature of the Joint Venture Give Away, it has grown to be one of the most popular list building opportunities for internet marketers.
The phenomenal success of the Joint Venture give away begs the questions, how does one put together a successful Joint Venture give away or find one to join? The answer to finding one to join is really quite simple. You just do a search for Joint Venture Give Away using your favorite search engine and you will find more than a few. Choosing which Joint Venture Give Away to join can be a little bit tougher. Remember that you may be required to send all of the offers in a joint give away package to all of your mailing list members. You want to be sure that the offers are ones that your members will not find objectionable so you need to know who the other participants will be and what they will be offering as free gifts. In that regards, creating your own Joint Venture give away is probably the more viable option. It is quite simple to put together a Joint Venture Give Away. However, it will require a good deal of hard work. Rather than advertising for Joint Venture partners to participate in your Joint Venture give away, seek out each partner individually and limit the number. For example: if you are selling Internet Marketing How-to books, you might choose two or three other marketers who sell similar products. Then you might want to look for other marketers who sell products that are totally unrelated to your niche like a marketer who sells golf supplies and one who sells piano lessons, for example. Make you Joint Venture give away as versatile as you possibly can.

People really do have many dimensions. They are interested in many different things and those who belong to one mailing list may very well be interested in belonging to another mailing list. These people are ready buyers and sometimes they buy the products and services that are offered as well in a Joint Venture Give Away.

Internet marketers are always looking for new and innovative ways to build their lists to market themselves and their products and services. The Joint Venture give away is certainly one example of their innovativeness!

4 Ways Blogging Helps You Get Better Search Engine Results

Posted by Admin on June 14th, 2009

By CindyLighter

After spending countless hours on perfecting your website and setting

it on up a live host, you may start to wonder how to make your website

appear on the search engine radar. Even if you did all of the things

like placing rich content, making a nice sitemap to make it easily

indexable, and practicing working SEO techniques, you might not be

getting the search engine results that you expected.

Your site will eventually be listed over time as you get traffic into

your website. But getting your site into the top search results is a

much more difficult task. This requires your content to be updated

every now and then not only because the search engine crawlers love to

crawl on new and updated content, but it will also encourage more

traffic and let your previous visitors come back for more if your

content is interesting enough. The best way to do this is through

blogging.

Here are some reasons why and how blogging helps greatly in

getting better search engine results.

1- Frequent Updates whenever Needed

Before blogs were popular, webmasters would have to manually edit

their site just to keep their content fresh. This takes time to do and

when things become repetitive, site updates become inconsistent which

is not good if you want good search engine results. With a blogging

platform, you can easily make updates to your site just by posting new

content that will append to your homepage.

2 - More Content means more Pages Indexed

The nice thing about blogging is that all of the entries stick there

unless you really want to delete them which is not recommended. For

example, if you blog consistently every day for one straight month,

you will have at least 30 entries that can all be indexed by the

search engine. In the long run, many of your most popular read entries

can hit the top search results and it can even be better if your

articles are uniquely written.

3- Improved SEO

Even if you arent very conscious about search engine optimization,

you will definitely have more search results if you keep your articles

unique. If you have a broader range of topics to cover, your site may

show up when different keyword phrases are being used. If you utilize

content writing skills and be focused on certain keywords per blog

entry, you can increase your sites rank on that keyword or let your

site appear on more keyword phrases.

4- Link Baiting is there to Help

Some blog posts can be so well written and entertaining that other

blogs and sites would make a link to it. This should not only greatly

increase the traffic on your website, but also generate you more

search engine results because those pages that show your link can be

listed as well.

Blogging is the way to show to the search engines and your visitors

that your site is active and producing new content daily. Once

visitors realize that, you will get more traffic from the different

search phrases that internet users make.

With the recent rise in advanced social networking sites and the subsequent attention they have received from media outlets, people commonly perceive weblogs–which are the staple of social networking–as a new invention; however, this isnt entirely true. Tips for Keeping Your Blog Up to Date

Posted by Admin on May 17th, 2009

By ghostevyta

Keeping a blog up to date is one of the most important aspects of blogging. This is so important because regular blog visitors expect new postings on a regular basis. Not all visitors expect to see a new post as often as once a day but most blog readers expect the content on the blog to be updated on a regular basis. In most cases visitors expect new content on at least a weekly basis. However, depending on the subject matter the visitors may expect updates on a basis which is either more frequent. Similarly visitors may not be interested in receiving this type of information more than a few times a year. Blog owners should be aware of the frequency of which readers expect new posts and should make an effort to oblige the readers with updates this often. This article will discuss methods for keeping a blog up to date including scheduling a regular time to post blogs, using publishing tools wisely and hiring guest bloggers when necessary.

Finding Time to Post Daily

One way to help to ensure a blog remains up to date is to schedule time to post blogs on a daily basis. This is especially important when blog readers expect new posts on a daily basis or at least several times per week. Bloggers who allot a specific block of time each day to researching, writing and publishing blogs are more likely to have a blog which is up to date than bloggers who plan on accomplishing tasks when they find time to do so. There may still be days in which the blogger is unable to publish a new post on the blog but these days will be less frequent than if the blogger does not have a block of time strictly dedicated to keeping the blog up to date.

On days in which the blog is unable to devote time to blogging, the blogger may wish to at least publish a short message explaining why it was not possible to post a new blog entry. This will let readers know you are aware of their desire to read more information but are simply unable to publish a new blog post. As long as this does not become a regular occurrence, blog visitors are not likely to stop viewing a blog simply because the blogger skips a day or two.

Taking Advantage of Publishing Tools

Some blog publishing tools enable bloggers to write blog posts ahead of time and specify when each post should be published. This is an excellent feature for bloggers who want to publish new posts daily but are unable to dedicate time each day to writing blog posts. This way the blogger can dedicate a block of time each week to write blog posts and have the posts published throughout the week. This is often an easier method for many bloggers because they are able to be more efficient this way.

Hiring Guest Bloggers

Bloggers may also want to consider hiring guest bloggers to assist them in keeping a blog up to date. This can be a worthwhile method for bloggers who are not only having difficulty keeping their blog up to date but are also interested in providing readers with a little variety. However, blog owners who opt for this message of keeping their blog up to date should carefully consider how the dedicated blog readers will react to this change. This is important because some readers may not be interested in reading blogs written by a guest blogger. Therefore the use of a guest blogger can actually be more detrimental to the blog than not updating the blog regularly. Bloggers can gauge reader reaction to the use of guest bloggers in a couple of different ways. The simplest and most straight forward method is to poll the readers about the use of guest bloggers. This can be done by asking readers to comment on the issue and tabulating the comments received. Another method to gauge reader reaction is to introduce a guest blogger and compare the traffic the guest blogger receives to the traffic the blog owner receives.

By Using These 2 Strategies You Will Make Money Being Online

Posted by Admin on May 7th, 2009

By John Baril

Countless training courses and ebooks have been produced on how to make money being online. In this article, we want to present 2 very basic concepts that you must always follow if you want to earn money online.

1. Always be very careful about any advice that you accept. There are many people online who like to call themselves experts in their field. These people will take money away from anyone who wants to part from it and give back very little or nothing in return.

This kind of thing unfortunately happens quite frequently. Many so called gurus make a few sales with their new Internet business and then, since they think they are experts, decide to get involved in the how to make money being online market.

Dont get me wrong, this market is very credible for the individuals who know what they are talking about. People who are just starting in Internet marketing, however, do have to be very careful about whom they take advice from and whether or not the information source is legitimate.

If you want to check up on someones credentials, it is best to go to the top Internet marketing forums and then post a question about them. One of the top forums for posting these types of queries is the Warrior Forum.

A great place to get quality advice about making money online is by checking out the various social networking sites. A good place to start with this would be Twitter.com. Here, you can build up a friends list and then read their updates.

2. The second major concept that applies if you want to make money being online is that most of your online effort should be dedicated to marketing your business. Further to this concept, you will need to establish a blog and then try to post to it everyday.

Both readers and search engines love blogs. If you are worried about how to run your blog successfully, there are many online resources that can teach you this. ProBlogger is an excellent online resource for teaching you the ins and outs of blogging.

ProBlogger.net is what is known as an authority site as there is a lot of excellent quality content available to you that you can use on your blog. By following the advice of other successful bloggers from this site, you can learn everything you need to know to be successful yourself.

With blogging, you can write about things that you enjoy and are knowledgeable about and you can make money in the process. Over the long term, it also allows you to create a lot of free traffic. In the end, if your blog is really good, you will attract a lot of traffic, so selling products as well as earning money in other ways will be easy.

In summary then, this is 2 concepts that you absolutely must follow if you want to make money being online. First of all, be very careful about where take your advice from and, second, set up a blog and start posting to it regularly. Once your blog is running, learn how to do it very well.

For How Joint Ventures Increase Your Profit.

Posted by Admin on May 4th, 2009

By Ben Needles

IIt was a revelation for me to come to the conclusion that not all marketers online are my competition. It was a 180 degree shift in thinking which prompted me to join up with another marketer and work together to improve both of our profits.

Joint venture was one of the big buzzwords (phrases) of 2005, and since I tried it for myself, I can now understand why. Previous to doing my first Joint venture (or JV as us marketers like to call them) I looked at anyone who was selling anything online as competition, someone to beat to the sale.

It was a few months ago, Joe Hebert asked me to work with him on a project, and when we got talking, his idea was one which I had already started but put on the backburner, namely a membership site. Now look at your own marketing, and online activities and see if you have some way in which a joint venture with someone could benefit your business. Maybe you need someone who can setup a script, or website, or you have some ideas which need a particular talent you dont have, you can barter with someone else who has what you need to make a profitable partnership which works for both of you without paying out hard cash for it.

Joe had a lot of resources which Id needed, including a great webhosting deal, and loads of information products to put into a membership site. I had a domain name and all the site layout, and graphics ready to go. The reason I hadnt gone further is because I didnt have the capital to add what I thought would be enough products to the site, which my new partner did. I also didnt have the time to upload all the products, my new Joint venture partner did.

My JV partner didnt have an email list to promote a new venture to, and didnt have the knowledge to get the scripts running to make the site automated. I had a domain name and all the site layout, and graphics ready to go. The reason I hadnt gone further is because I didnt have the capital to add what I thought would be enough products to the site, which my new partner did. I also didnt have the time to upload all the products, my new Joint venture partner did. I had those skills, and resources, so we teamed up.

In just a few days we had a new membership site at up and running and taking orders. Joe took care of the hosting and products, I took care of the design and promoting to a warm prospect list. Together we are making it work, where singly we had both struggled.

Dont make the mistake I made, see everyone as a potential partner in profit, instead of an opponent to defeat. Start doing some joint ventures, you
wont necessarily halve your profits, and you may well make more by sharing the work with someone

IIt was a revelation for me to come to the conclusion that not all marketers online are my competition. It was a 180 academic degree shift in thought which prompted me to join up with another marketer and work in concert to improve both of our profits.

Joint hazard was one of the big buzzwords (phrases) of 2005, and since I tried it for myself, I can now understand why. Previous to doing my first Joint hazard (or JV as us marketers like to call them) I looked at anyone who was selling anything online as competition, someone to beat to the sale.

It was a few months ago, Joe Hebert asked me to work with him on a project, and when we got talking, his idea was one which I had already started but put on the backburner, namely a membership site. Now look at your own marketing, and online activities and see if you have some way in which a joint venture with someone could gain your business. Maybe you need someone who can setup a script, or website, or you have some ideas which need a particular endowment you dont have, you can trade with someone else who has what you need to make a fruitful partnership which works for both of you without paying out hard cash for it.

Writing a blog. 7 blogging tips and ideas

Posted by Admin on April 14th, 2009

By Gen Wright

Inspiration on writing a blog. Most us go through a stage of writers block. How do we get through these periods of just blanks? Here are seven blogging tips to help you for blog ideas.

1. Think about what people who visit your blog want. Ask yourself, “What problems are they experiencing that I can help with”. Or questions such as “When I started what did I learn that helped me to get to where I am now?” These are ideas that can be formulated into something of benefit that you should be inspired to write about.

2. What have I recently learnt that was informative, helpful, inspiring, humorous, or entertaining? Work this into your blog giving your unique flavour. As You grow you can share those benefits, solutions or ideas with your readers. What are your struggles, gripes that maybe need airing. These “struggles” show that you to are human and can identify with their problems.

3. Sign up with Stumbleupon and get their weekly review of the most popular sites. Find sites relevant to your blog for ideas, tips or strategies. Or you can visit forums and chat sites related to your niche to find threads to fire you up with. This is another place to find what questions are being asked that you could maybe help with.

4. Google trends is another site worth visiting to see what’s hot. Write about something of interest that you have found, then point your readers in that direction. Out ward links from your blog are also good, it shows your readers that you care by offering something of quality. They will come back for more as regulars.

5. Write down a list of ten questions relating to your niche that your readers could be asking. Just do a google search ” intelligent questions on (Your Niche).” you will be amazed at what questions get asked. This is a great way to jump in to give your input.

6. Use a good key word tool that gives alternate keywords and phrases. This I find is great inspiration for my heading. Once the heading is decided, just write down every thing you know without really thinking. You can always come back to proof read and correct it later. This gets the flow going, so don’t stop.

7. What’s up and coming? What important event is due? This can be the foundation for your blog ideas. Easter for example or the next big game. What plans, views or interests can you write about? What can benefit your community or needs discussion to improve things.

Inspiration for writing a blog is easy if you think about these 7 blogging tips and ideas. You need to now take action and benefit from writing what is on your heart.
